Our course will be closed Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am for a local benefit tournament. We regret any inconvenience, and we should re-open for play at 11:30 am.
We are currently experiencing several outages with our on-course lights. Therefore, we will not offer night golf until further notice. We are working to resolve the outages. Please call ahead to check the status of our lights.
We appreciate your continued support!
Wow! Many thanks to Brookside patrons for your support. We now have 16-teams registered for the Fall League! Registrations are now closed.
With 16-teams, a weekly, head-to-head schedule with each team playing each other team would stretch well into December 2019. We want to conclude the Fall League regular season and playoffs before Thanksgiving. Regular season play will be 10-weeks. At the end of the regular season, teams will be placed into a flight based on regular season averages:
Championship Flight (4-teams); 1st Flight (4-teams); 2nd Flight (4-teams); 3rd Flight (4-teams)
Within each flight, teams will be seeded #1 through #4, with the #1 seed being the team with the lowest season average and #4 seed the team with the highest season average. In the first round of playoffs, #1 plays #4, and #2 plays #3. Winners play for the flight championship. If there is a tie after the first round playoff match, the team with the lowest season average will advance. A tie in the championship match of each flight will be broken by a three-hole (#1, #2, #3) playoff. The registration fees will be used for prizes in all four flights!
Clarification: The Fall League format is 3-player Captain’s Choice. Each player’s tee shot must be used once each league round.
Thanks to everyone for choosing Brookside Par 3 as your golfing destination!
The Member’s Club Championship is open to all Brookside members in good standing. We’ll have Junior, Ladies, and Men’s divisions. No need to sign-up. Just come out and play two rounds and post your scores!
· When playing your Club Championship rounds, you must play with another player who can attest to your score. Please attempt to play with another Club Championship participant.
· Before you play your Club Championship rounds, declare your intent to the clubhouse. When you finish, tally your score, sign and date your scorecard, and turn it in to the clubhouse.
· All putts must be holed. No gimmes!
· You may improve your lie through the green by moving your ball one club length, no closer to the hole. You may not move your ball from the fringe onto the green.
· If there are more than 5-participants in a division, we’ll flight participants based on first-round scores.
Good Luck to all our members, and please remember we truly appreciate your patronage here at Brookside Par 3 Golf Club

Good afternoon everyone! It has been a while since we have posted any news, but due to the weather and season there hasn’t been much to let you know about but now…
We have posted details of the 2019 Spring Captain’s Choice League on our Events page so go check them out!
We are busy preparing the course for another fun season! We will be aerating the greens with solid tines again this Spring and will let you know the exact date when we have it scheduled.
Over the Winter we did install a FootGolf course here so if golf isn’t your game but you like soccer you need to come by. It’s basically golf but with soccer balls and larger holes! We have a link at the top to the rules and such if you are interested in seeing what it’s about!
We are accepting Hole/Tee Box Sponsorships so give us a call or stop by for more details!
2019 is going to be a fantastic year!
As we begin a new year, we would like to reflect on happenings from 2018…
After 20 years of running Brookside, Milton decided to take a step back and be “semi-retired”. His “semi-retirement” puts 90% of us to shame! Milton has covered the clubhouse part time, beat the streets looking for donations for our Annual Archie Goode Memorial tournament, he is always there when we have questions no matter what time of day, and he has been playing a lot more golf!
Kenny (Milton’s brother-in-law), who Milton has been leasing the land from, took over the business and named Tony as Manager.
We have taken what Milton has been doing for the last 20 years and continued to do it to try to make the transition as seamless as possible, and have tried to add to it!
Started a tree project. We cut trees above and around the number six tee box, both sides of the fairway on six, as well as behind the number six green to try to open up the fairway and allow some air to get to the green so that we do not have as much trouble with keeping the green dry and healthy. We also cut trees between the tee box and the green on number seven to make the tee shots not as intimidating and to allow for sunlight to get to the green. We cut around number eight green so that tree limbs were not hanging over the green. The tee shot from number nine was also made a little easier because some of the trees were cut at the creek.
Began to start cleaning out around and in the creek throughout the course.
Partnered with GolfStatus which is a free smartphone app that has many applications to help with your golf game and gives away many prizes just for checking in at any golf course in the United States. As a matter of fact, one of our members won a foursome with carts and a private meeting room at Ballyhack!
Got rid of the Coke machine that was on the patio and replaced it with a Gatorade machine so now we have two drink machines that take cards as well as touchless methods of payment (Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc).
Held a Glow Ball Tournament. We hope to have at least two this season!
Started up Captain’s Choice Leagues and they have been a huge success! As a matter of fact we had only planned on having them in the Spring, Summer, and Fall but we had so many requests that we decided to go ahead and have one this Winter too!
Renovated the men’s restroom and opened a women’s restroom!
Took out some of the bushes that were around the clubhouse because they had gotten so overgrown.
Built a FootGolf course to add to what we offer.
Rebuilt the website and made it less static and more user friendly.
Recently purchased a “walk behind” greens mower that should allow us to be more meticulous and it will be gentler on the greens.
Installed a new point of sale system in the clubhouse that allowed us to take contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc) as well.
Aerated all the greens twice, overseeded, and fertilized them so that they come back stronger than ever in the Spring!
2018 was an exciting year with ups and downs (weather!) but we are excited to start a new year! We look forward to seeing everyone and continuing to improve your play here at Brookside Par 3!!! Come see us soon and bring a friend!
We hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season! We are pleased to announce that our FootGolf course is NOW OPEN!!! Check out the rules and tips on the tab at the top of this page! We will be open our regular hours every day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so take a break from shopping and get in a round of therapy! While you are here, remember that we sell gift cards, Bonus Cards, and memberships! Hope to see everyone soon!
